Westclox Oracle Style Electric, time only. Date 1947 - 1950's. Case Brass plated metal. Dial Painted metal with brass hands and numbers (except for a white sweep second hand). S6-E 110 volts a.c. 60 cycles 2 watts made in U.S.A. S-6-E One of the large time only clocks. Dial is sandwiched between a clear glass in front and an amber/brass colored glass in back. Dial has a red power interruption indicator below center of dial. Similar to the earlier made Andover, although the Oracle is brass and the Andover is nickel plated with blue glass. The photos are taken with the clear front glass removed. The back time set knob is plastc. Can be hard to find without broken or chipped glass. Ad is from 1947.
