Westclox Andover Electric, time only clock date 1938 - 1942 Nickel plated metal with blue painted back. Dial Painted silver metal with red hands and numbers (except for a white second hand). S2-L 110 volts a.c. 60 cycles 1.7 watts current interruptions stop clock patd. U.S.A. No. 2046130 - patents pdg. made in U.S.A. S2-L A2 One of the nicest large clocks with it's blue glass contrasting against the chrome-like metal finish. The metal dial is sandwiched between a clear and blue plate of glass. It is hard to find one without chips or breaks in the blue glass. Clock motor was NOT self-starting, thus the top knob in back was spun clockwise to start the clock. Highly sought after by art deco collectors. The later ORACLE model is similar in design, but brass with amber glass.
