How to Date your Westclox timepiece.

The information on this site that matches your timepiece will give you an approximate date for your item. If you want to know the actual date of manufacture for your timepiece, you have to look at the movement. Westclox was very good at stamping the date of manufacture on almost every movement. It may be hard to find but your persistence will pay off. Many times the date is stamped on the inner side of the plate of the movement. Some are stamped with month, day and year (2-digits). On others, you will find only a month and year. If you are unable to do this, next time you have your piece serviced, ask the repair person to look for it and write the date down for you.
